I was born in Tirupati on February 1st, 1985. I was named after Late Bertrand Russell by my father.  

My father was an eminent and renown physics lecturer and also, the pioneer for corporate educational institutes in the state. His popularilty as the founder of Kora Educational Institutes was matched only by his commitment to excellence and love for his students.


"Caelum videre iussit, et erectos ad sidera tollere vultus."

- He bid them look at the sky and lift their faces to the stars

It is the grace of god i got to learn everything from him and not just Physics. And my mother, Hemalatha is a house wife.

I did my schooling in Nellore, a small town in coastal Andhra Pradesh.I joined Ratnam Junior college to pursue my Intermediate (12th class). I secured the State level 1st rank in the Intermediate Public examinations 2002. At the EAMCET engineering examination 2002, I secured the state level 14th rank.

I joined Birla Institute of Technology and Science,Pilani in August 2002. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in June 2006. I worked as a Research intern at Microsoft Research Labs, Bangalore for six months. As a part of Technology for Emerging Markets group, I worked with Kentaro Toyama on a low cost Embedded system for rural education in India.

 I'm now at University of Massachusetts, Amherst pursuing my Master's degree in Computer systems Engineering.
